As of late 2025, this case is on appeal to the North Carolina Supreme Court. We are greatly appreciative of all contributions to help cover the costs for this effort. 

Donations should be made through our fiscal sponsor, the Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County (PSABC).  All donations are fully tax-deductible.  The PSABC supports the work of the Montreat Stewards and is graciously charging no fee for this service: 100% of donations go to the work of Montreat Stewards.  

Please write a check or make a credit card contribution to PSABC, noting "Montreat Stewards" in the memo or comment line.

Contributions may be made by check or credit card.  There are two options:
